All of our goats are Nigerian Dwarf Goats. Nigerian Dwarf Goats are known for their gentle, lovable and playful personalities. We would agree. We find them to be docile, playful loving and curious. They always want to know what we are doing. If we don’t talk to them as we pass by, they start baying all the louder making it impossible to continue past them without adequate affection (which I don’t mind at all).
We love our goats! They make excellent pets as well as livestock. Many people use them for 4-H animals as well. As dairy goats, they produce wonderful sweet milk in surprising amounts for their size. We are excited to get started with milking beginning spring of 2023.
We have excellent milk lines.
We have excellent milk lines from Rosasharn farm in Rhode Island. They came to us from Windy Hill Ranch in Iowa. In fact, all but one of our Nigerian Dwarf Goats came from them. We started our herd in 2021 with 6 kids, 4 does and 2 withers. One of the withers came from another farm but is a relative of the goats at Windy Hill. This year we are fortunate to acquire most of the herd from Windy Hill Ranch (a total of 16 new goats on our homestead) including the milk line from Rosasharn. This is an exciting and big move for us! I am a tiptoe-in kind of girl who needs to think about it and ponder moves of this sort, this time it needed to be a jump-in kind of decision. Put me out of my comfort zone, but I am excited about the opportunity! I am ecstatic for the goats to get here! Spending time with them each day is pure joy.

Meet Our Nigerian Dwarf Goats Does:
Ireland
Ireland is a sweet, friendly and loving girl. She often watches us come in gently moves toward us and stands expectantly right next to us. Of course, she gets the loving she is seeking. Then she prances happily to go graze. She is so cute.
Ireland comes from Rosasharn Farm in Rhode Island known for its excellent milk lines. Her mother received reserve champion in 2022. Additionally, her mother’s milk was ranked in the 99th percentile in dairy goat milk testing.
Early Acres Sweet Berniece
Bernie is a mild-mannered girl who seems to rule the roost in a quiet but confident way. She is a little shy with us but will engage as it suits her. She is a delight to watch among the girls. She is an experienced nurturing mother who has a strong history of healthy kids.
Brandy
Brandy is a social, friendly, loving Nigerian Dwarf Goat. She quickly comes to investigate what you are doing when out in the pasture. She loves to be loved and will stand getting her neck scratched for as long as you will let her.
The Windy Hill Ranch’s Coco
Coco is a quiet, mild mannered girl who stands back and watches what is going on. She is often found in the middle or back of the herd just mingling in with her herd mates. She often comes up to say hi then heads back to be in the midst of her herd. She is an experienced nurturing mother who has a history of strong healthy kids.
AGS Kind Acres Calypso
Calli is a little darling. She is gentle and loving to her fellow herd mates and people. She is interested in what we are doing coming to investigate but often loses interest is treats are not involved. However, she will still stay around to watch the show. She is an experienced nurturing mother who has a strong history of healthy kids.
Windy Hill Ranch’s Dahlia
Dahlia is a a cuddlebug. She loves to have her neck scratched and lean up against us. She will come when called and is attentive to what is happening around her. She helps nudge the Nigerian Dwarf Goats in the direction I want them to go which I appreciate. She is new to breeding this year but we believe she will be a good mother.
Windy Hill Ranch’s Dottie
Dottie is one of the first to greet us in the morning. Her friendly and quiet temperament soothes the soul as she nuzzles up to her hand. She is an experienced nurturing mother who has a history of strong healthy kids.
AGS Stargazer Goats Jade
Jade is a curious soul. She loves looking out to what is beyond the gate without trying to escape. When I am working in a different part of the pasture she comes close to see what I am doing stretching as far as she can to see me. She is sweet with a calm temperament. She is an experienced nurturing mother who has a history of strong healthy kids.
The Kind Acre Katarina
Kat is a shy girl who is interested but remains cautious. She has a sweet, laid-back disposition that allows her to sit happily in the sun while the herd is moving around. She is an experienced nurturing mother who has a history of strong healthy kids. She is an excellent example of a Nigerian Dwarf Goat.
Windy Hill Ranch’s Montana
Montana is such a sweet girl. She is playful but calm. She can be seen playing with Utah (one of our withers) her brother in the pasture happily headbutting him and chasing some of the other does. But she quickly becomes affectionate with each herd member as well as us when she sees us. She is new to breeding this year but we are sure she will be a good mother.
Windy Hill Ranch’s Nellie
Nellie is a choosy cuddlebug. She has her people that she snuggles up to but shies away from others while still remaining friendly. She is a sweet girl. Nellie is new to breeding this year but we believe she will prove to be a good mother.
Windy Hill Ranch’s Penelope
Penelope is a quiet, affectionate, mild natured girl who enjoys exploring the pasture. She is curious and investigates other animals on the farm as much as she can. She is a new breeder this year and we believe she will prove to be a good mother.
Kind Acres Tia
Tia, like her mom Bernie, is a leader in the herd. When she notices something she moves the herd toward or away depending on the situation. She is attentive and friendly. Tia is an experienced nurturing mother who has a history of strong healthy kids.
We sell our kids on a list basis. If you are interested in our kids, we will put you on a list in the order of contact. Once the kids are born, we will contact you in the order of contact until the lkids are all sold. A deposit of $100 per kid, $50 for wethers will be required at the time of the call to be subtracted from the total amount due. Mr. Tumnus
Mr. Tumnus is a sweet, friendly, affectionate, interactive boy who comes running when called. He is the one I call to in order to get the herd moving toward me. He loves his cuddles and animal crackers.
Utah
Utah is a playful, sweet boy who is finally warming up to neck scratches and cuddles. He interacts well especially when you have a treat for him, but who doesn’t?
Rudy
Rudy is new to the herd this year (2022) but has joined in wonderfully. He is a sweet, affectionate boy who rivals Mr. Tumnus in his desire to be near you and be showered with affection. It seems as if he has always been part of the herd.
